PhilippinesIt is the world second largest archipelago after Indonesia.Philippines, with Manila as capital city has everything it takes to grow good quality coffee in large amounts. Grows four main commercial species, robusta, arabica, excelsa, and liberica, and is experimenting with hybrids: the small crop of good arabica, known for its full, slightly spicy flavor, is concentrated on the southern island of Mindanao.Though not much name or brand of Philippines' coffee I know, the main descriptions of thePhilippines arabica is not very acidic, and the flavor is fairly strong, this coffee works well where a darker roast is appreciated, as in after dinner or espresso blends. It is splendid for digesting your meal since the acidity works well.
South Pacific & South East Asia
The coffee plantation distribution in South Pacific and South East Asia divided from Australia to Vietnam, which mostly began in the colonial aged before around 1800s.
